The Woman in Black starts off good with three creepy little girls killing themselves. I just love creepy kids in movies. Then the next 20 minutes of the movie are boring. In fact, when the movie got going I didn't even understand what Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliff) was doing in the creepy old house. The Woman In Black did a great job at making me jump (okay I admit, I screamed a little) a few moments after he entered the manson. From that moment until the end of the movie, I jumped and screamed more than I have with any movie. I haven't been that scared by a movie since watching Children of the Corn when I was 10.
I have to admit, I had a hard time disguising between Arthur Kipps and Harry Potter. This was especially hard when Arthur Kipps first entered the creepy old manson, which just had a Hogwarts feel to it. I don't know if it was the old photographs on the wall or Daniel Radcliff himself.
